I'll overwhelm 'serious combatant' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be shown live on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to promote the upcoming boxing match.

Ex two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami's venue on 19 December.

Boxer's Attitude

"I will injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."

Civil Exchange

In spite of those words, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Paul instead attacked former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, consistently making substantial financial rewards.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters participated in the traditional face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly going ahead.
